After I wiped out the initial wave, I basically camped everyone above the command room with the Hologlobe and spammed Overwatch as the aliens trickled in. One of the guards, after being flanked by a Cyberdisc, took a cannon blast to the face and lived with one health. 2 guards died, but no soldier of mine was killed or even hurt that badly.
All things considered, it went pretty well. XCOM Base Defense: After raiding the Alien Base, I was quite paranoid about how the incoming Base Defense mission would go.
Although I've been doing pretty well so far, I've still a few questions I hope could be answered. I eventually beat Enemy Unknown on Normal Ironman, so I transitioned over to EW on the same difficulty. Ever since I got Enemy Unknown and Enemy Within, I've been having a lot of fun.
