The locusts had an actual army, vehicles, equipment etc. Reformed as the new Delta Squad, they travel to the ruins of Azura at Damon Baird's request in order to launch a Hammer of Dawn satellite in an effort to restore the Hammer of Dawn network. JD saves a group of civilians but is badly injured after failing to save Lizzie from being killed by the Hammer strikes.
